Pedestrian accident injures 1 in Waco

A pedestrian accident occurred last month in Waco and left one woman seriously injured. The accident occurred in the afternoon on Thursday, January 20th.
Police responded to reports of an accident on N. 25th Street and found 53-year old Frankie Hudson severely injured. Paramedics rushed the victim to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center. The nature of her injuries and her condition were not released.
Witnesses to the accident told police that Hudson was jogging down 25th Street and attempted to cross over onto Trice Avenue when a vehicle ran into her. The vehicle was a Chevrolet Impala driven by 31-year old Stephanie Thompson.

7-year old injured in pedestrian accident

A pedestrian accident occurred early Monday morning in Waco and sent a 7-year old girl to the hospital. The accident happened on China Spring Road near a bus stop just before 8 A.M..
Waco police initially reported that the girl, along with two other children, were waiting for a bus on the side of the busy road when a vehicle struck the 7-year old. Later, sources said that the girl had missed her bus and was walking along the roadway to a relative’s house.
Paramedics rushed the girl to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center where she was treated for unspecified, not life-threatening injuries.
