A motorcycle accident in El Paso this past Sunday afternoon left 33-year old Hugo Vasquez seriously injured.  The accident occurred at the intersection of 3900 Global Reach and 90 Walter Jones when Vasquez ran a red light.

Police officers say that when Vasquez ran the red light he tried to lay his motorcycle down and avoid being hit by a white Ford pickup, but Vasquez’s motorcycle slid and ran into the right side of the truck.

Vasquez was left with serious injuries and taken to the William Beaumont Army Medical Center.   The driver of the pickup was not injured in the accident.
