James Twombly
Born and raised in Austin, Texas James Twombly earned an undergraduate degree in Government from The University of Texas in 1992. In 1993, James enrolled in Texas Tech University School of Law. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech in 1996. After law school James spent two years clerking for Justice Don Reavis at the Seventh Court of Appeals in Amarillo, Texas. In 1998 James returned to Austin to begin his career as a “Plaintiff’s Lawyer.” From 1998, through the present he has been representing individual Texans on a contingent fee basis against insurance companies and corporations.
Since he began practicing law, James has handled a vast array of cases, including product liability cases, burn injury cases, medical malpractice cases, work place injuries, legal malpractice cases, civil rights cases, premises liability cases, car wreck cases and an array of other contractual and personal injury cases, including faulty home foundations, fraud, libel, business disparagement, breach of contract and Deceptive Trade Practice (DTPA) cases.
